Sometimes a book comes along & surprises you, even though you follow the work of the person who writes it. I met @garancedore in passing a couple of times, once when her then boyfriend @thesartorialist was presenting his book at @libertylondon & once at #VogueFestival Garance has a contagious smile, yet without making assumptions, she seemed shy as well. I love the way she engages with women, building a sunny dialogue. Her illustrations are beautiful & elegant & I think it is wonderful to have her genuine voice in the at times superficial fashion field. Her first book is clearly a labour of love & I look forward to keeping an eye on her work projects that lie ahead.
