I ordered the book as soon as it was out. I am really enjoying reading it and was very excited when I heard you will have a book signing in Washington DC on December 15th (which also happens to be my birthday). However, I am very disappointed to find out that it’s ONLY open to people who buy the book on that day at the signing, and if you already bought it or have it, too bad! This is what I was told when I called yesterday. I am quite shocked actually as this is extremely elitist and snobby. I had no idea that they were going to put conditions on people going to a book signing who actually bought your book. Needless to say, I will not be attending (because I was told I can’t). I’ve been to book signings of world famous authors and never have I seen a condition like that put on a book tour.
